Ingredients

  • 1 whole wild sea bream (Dorade fish) cleaned and gutted
  • 1 teaspoon ground coriander
  • 3 tablespoons of extra virgin olive oil
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 1 tablespoon dried oregano
  • 2 organic garlic cloves, smashed
  • 1 tablespoon organic lemon juice
  • Cracked black pepper, to taste
  • 1 organic lemon, cut into slices
  • 1 cup steamed snow peas, for plate garnish

Fish can add important omega-3 fatty acids to your diet, which help improve the texture of our skin, are naturally anti-inflammatory, help with memory and cognition and may help prevent heart disease and cancer.

Unfortunately, many species of fish are contaminated with lead or mercury.

The big fish eat the small fish, so eating bigger fish like shark, marlin, tuna and grouper can cause you to accumulate these toxic metals in your organs.

However, some smaller fish are low in lead and mercury and are much safer to consume so you get the health benefits without the risk.

If you have never tried sea bream, you’re in for a treat. Sea bream is considered one of the lowest containing mercury fish out there, so is one of the safest to eat on a regular basis.

Directions

Preheat oven to 350 degrees Fahrenheit.

In a small bowl add, salt, pepper, oregano, olive oil, coriander, lemon juice, garlic and stir until all ingredients are incorporated. Place the fish in a baking dish and rub dressing on entire fish and in the inside, as well.

Next, place lemon slices on top of fish in a row and cover with lid. Bake for 20-25 minutes or until golden brown. Fish is done when it is opaque and flaky. Remove from oven and place onto plate with steamed snow peas.

Serve.
