Ingredients

  • 1 pound okra, whole (halved if you prefer)
  • 2 teaspoons sea salt
  • 2 teaspoons organic coriander
  • 1 teaspoon organic garlic granules
  • 2 teaspoons apple cider vinegar
  • 2 tablespoons of avocado or olive oil

Okra Fries are a simple, satisfying way to turn a nutrient-dense vegetable into a crave-worthy side dish. Lightly seasoned and oven-roasted instead of fried, this recipe brings out okra’s natural flavor while keeping things gut-friendly, fiber-rich, and perfect for pairing with your favorite proteins or enjoying as a wholesome snack.

Directions

Preheat the oven to 400 degrees Fahrenheit. In large bowl, toss the okra in with wet ingredients first.

Next, add all dry ingredients and mix well to incorporate, feel free to use your hands.

Spread the okra out on a sheet pan, single layer, so they all have a chance to get a bit crispy.

Roast for 12 minutes then remove from oven, stir and return to oven for another 12-13 minutes, or until crispy, but not burnt. Remove from oven and serve.
