Cruciferous vegetables have so many health benefits and are rich sources of folate, Vitamins K, C and E as well as fiber. Studies suggest these healthy veggies can help lower your risk of cancer and reduce inflammation.
And if you are following an alkaline diet or Wahls protocol, this dish fits the bill perfectly. I like mine a little extra crispy?
Ingredients:
- 1 head of organic cauliflower, chopped into florets
- 1 teaspoon coarse sea salt
- 3 tablespoons organic olive oil
- 1 teaspoon garlic powder
- 3 cloves of garlic (smashed) not chopped
- 1 tablespoon Braggs Apple Cider Vinegar
- Cracked pepper to taste
Directions:
Preheat oven to 450 degrees F.
In a medium bowl, add florets then olive oil, sea salt, garlic powder, smashed garlic and apple cider vinegar. Toss all together until evenly coated.
On a baking sheet, spread the cauliflower florets evenly adding in the rest of the oil from the bowl, too.
Roast for 22-30 minutes, or until golden and crispy.
Serve and enjoy!
